Great new article in .net magazine

Friday, January 29th, 2010

Just received the most recent copy of .net magazine through the door and after reading it I felt very happy with myself. Why you ask?

Well many of the articles in the magazine were commenting on design processes and tools that I use on a regular basis on current projects. These included JQuery and Wordpress. This comforts me as it means I am keeping up to date with current web trends and thus keeping my clients happy by delivering up to date websites.

Media Mentor goes live

Thursday, January 28th, 2010

This was a recent ‘in house’ project where we re-designed the training arm of the companies website. The old site was rather cluttered and we wanted to develop something that was clean and fresh. We also wanted the user to be able to find information on the site quickly and easily.

Scottish Venezuelan Society Website Goes Live

Thursday, January 14th, 2010

Just to let you all know a recent project I was working on has gone live. Its quite an interesting one. Many years ago Venezuela decided that kids should be given free musical lessons to try and keep them of the street. Called El Sistema by its members, the programme is celebrating 30 years of making classical musicians out of half-a-million young Venezuelans, and it has transformed the lives of many underprivileged and at-risk youths in the process.

Wednesday, November 4th, 2009

I have been working as a cameraman within my job now for over five years. This mainly involves filming interviews inside and out so we play with lighting and sound. These interviews are training based for the arm of our business Media Mentor and over the years we have updated and improved the way we film, edit and export these interviews.

Benchmark Physiotherapy site live

Benchmark Physiotherapy Logo

Benchmark Physiotherapy Logo

This was a small basic brochure website I did for a mate. I also worked on the initial branding for the business cards about a year ago so it was just a case of allowing the logo to drive the design.

We decided on a clean simple site that spoke to the user in their language and explained all the services Damien offers.

He has physiotherapy clinics in Glasgow and Clydebank and provides services such as:

  1. Massage
  2. Sports Injury
  3. Acupuncture
