Once again St Mirren have put us to the sword. Tonight in the CIS Cup Quarter Final we were beaten by three goals to nil and quite comfortably to boot.

Inverness one of our bogey teams
It got me to thinking about bogey teams and how sometime no matter how good or bad there is always one team who you struggle against.
A few years ago we always came a cropper against Inverness Caley Thistle and I remember one game where Motherwell faced ICT at Fir Park to go into the Semi Finals of the Scottish Cup. ICT were a first division team at the time and we were flying high. Anyway we lost 1-0 and played total shite. From that day on we really struggled against them. Then Mark McGhee came along and we beat them 2-1 at Fir Park in the league and since then they have never taken a point of us. So the ball is now on the other foot.
But recently St Mirren have taken over that mantle and as a supporter it drives you crazy. Like tonight we travel over to Paisley sit in the wet and cold and watch our team capitulate and you almost knew it was going to happen before it did!
The life of a footbal fan I suppose!
